DG CLOMID – is a non-steroidal medication that is used to treat infertility in women who have problems with ovulation. Steroids users use it to treat the estrogen side effects that sometimes are caused by the AAS or in the Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) to stimulate the production of testosterone that it is suppressed due to the use of anabolic steroids.
It is very similar to Tamoxifen, a very popular product too and both products have almost the same effectiveness.
As an anti-estrogen, Clomed can be used during the cycle to prevent gynecomastia, but it will not reduce the estrogen level and the aromatization process. It just helps to prevent gynecomastia and even has a very positive influence on cholesterol levels. In the case of big dosages of AAS, the Clomed is not effective for preventing gyno, the best is to use Anastrozole or Letrozol.
Most of the steroid users are using Clomed during the PCT program. It stimulates the production of natural testosterone and shortens the recovery time of the body.
Clomid Uses:
The application of Clomid increases the level of hormones that stimulate the testicles. That is Clomid acts directly on the pituitary gland. This increases the natural production of testosterone by the body.
Chemically for athletes this is highly a favorable effect, since at the end of cycle Testosterone levels are higher than normal. Once the athlete stops taking medication, testosterone levels significantly decreased and its natural level must be returned. Because of this, there are considerable loss of muscle mass and volume. Studies show that when taking Clomid in the amount of 50-100 mg per day, in the evening or in the morning, after meals, in the two-week period or more natural testosterone production is back to normal.
During the period of Clomid use, it raises testosterone levels. As effective is Clomid as an anti-estrogen. Many athletes experience a surplus in it after completing the cycle. A high level of the hormone in combination with low testosterone may lead to the development of gynecomastia. Clomid – solves two problems: blocks unwanted effect of estrogen; rising natural level of testosterone in the body.
In this regard as of side effects, it is considered a fairly safe drug. Clomid is both women and men, in that there are no contraindications. Women who use this drug helps to achieve tighter appearance before the competition. There may be temporary visual disturbances.
